STEM Applications
Attention 5th grade parents! If you would like your child to have an opportunity to attend STEM Academy at Smith Middle School next year, please complete the application and return it to Jessica Sanchez (school counselor) as soon as possible. These are due on March 12. This is a lottery based system, so those chosen will be notified closer to the end of the school year. If your child is selected, you MUST confirm that they are accepting their spot. Arthur Trujillo Award
Attention 5th grade parents! Forms are now available for your child to apply for the Arthur Trujillo Award for Excellence. This honor is awarded to two 5th grade students each year. Criteria includes Grades, Service, Leadership, Character, Citizenship, and a Personal Essay. Students can self-nominate, parents can nominate, and staff can nominate. If you are interested in exploring this opportunity with your child, please download and complete the packet and return to Jessica Salser-Sanchez (school counselor) by the due date of May 7, 2021.
