Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Cliff Holder
Hello West Ward family! I’m Mr. Holder, Assistant Principal, and this is my 13th year on campus. It is a privilege to serve here at West Ward and something that I look forward to when I get out of bed, every morning.
I have been with the Killeen Independent School District as a Classroom Teacher and Assistant Principal for 23 years. I started my career at Brookhaven as a 4th Grade teacher and later moved to Liberty Hill Middle School where I taught Reading, Language Arts, and Independent Studies.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Social Science with a professional writing certificate in Public Relations from the University of Pittsburgh. I started my college career at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, before moving to Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, and finally finishing at Pitt. I took 30 credits toward a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Pitt before finishing my master’s in Educational Leadership at Tarleton State University (Go Texans!).
I look forward to an exciting year working with all of our stakeholders, staff, students, parents, and community members alike to strive for excellence.
