School Parties
-
Due to new federal regulations, schools are allowed 3 parties where Foods of Minimal Nutritional Value (FMNV) may be served. Traditionally, Clear Creek hosts 3 student parties – Christmas, Valentines and End-of-Year.
School parties are limited to Clear Creek students and will cause a very limited loss to instructional time – no more than 30 minutes.
Student birthdays are recognized through a morning announcement and a birthday treat from the office. Parents may drop off store-bought treats that are handed to each child’s classmate at dismissal time. The delivery of flowers and/or balloons to the birthday child are prohibited as well as distribution of invitations for private birthday parties.
