Degrees and Certifications:

Alice Anderson

My name is Alice Anderson, and I’m thrilled to be a Joey this year. I have over 33 years in education and have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades in addition to being a math coach in KISD for several years. I obtained my Bachelors degree from Mary Hardin Baylor and my Masters degree from Tarleton State University. I also have my Principal’s Certification.

I moved to Killeen in 1962 after my father was stationed at Ft. Hood. I attended East Ward Elementary, Nolan Middle School and graduated from Killeen High School in 1972.

Although I retired in 2018, I’ve spent the last two years teaching and tutoring students at West Ward. It was only natural to continue my journey with the staff and students I love and follow them to Killeen Elementary. Go Joeys!!!
