Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Charlotte Heinze

My name is Charlotte Heinze, I am honored and blessed to serve as the CTE Program Advisor for KISD Career Center.  I am in my 25th year in education. Before becoming the KISD Career Center CTE Program Advisor, I coached softball, and cheerleading, served as the Marketing Education Coordinator/COOP, DECA Advisor, summer school principal, marketing education teacher, senior class sponsor, and student council advisor.  While in these positions, I grew tremendously as a leader. I learned the importance of developing others through my personal leadership, hoping that my actions inspire others to obtain a higher level of educational opportunities.

My role as CTE Program Advisor at KISD Career Center is to work with local businesses and community members to bring real-life experiences to the students at KISD Career Center. Also, to facilitate CTE program tours, community outreach, professional learning, and recruit for our CTE programs. My aspiration is to pass on lifetime learning strategies to both students and teachers so that they better understand opportunities in reaching their fullest potential.  I strongly believe that all teachers and students need to feel valued and respected.  They need to know that their thoughts, opinions, and beliefs are important.

My husband and I have been married for 32 years, and have three boys, and three beautiful granddaughters. I am excited to be a part of the Career Center family and look forward to supporting all our teachers and students.
