Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Katie Hequembourg
Welcome to Montague Village Elementary School, home of the Longhorns! It is my privilege to serve this amazing community, the students, and their families. I have been an educator since 2000 when I graduated from the University of Missouri with my BS in Elementary Education. In 2004 I graduated with my Masters in Elementary Administration from William Woods University. During my time as a classroom teacher, I taught 1st, 4th, 5th grade, and Dyslexia in Missouri, New York, and Texas. After leaving the classroom, I had the pleasure to serve teachers and students as a Curriculum Instructional Specialist before becoming an assistant principal.
My husband and I have been married for 16 years and we have four children ranging in ages from 5 to 11 years old. As a family, we have been stationed at Ft. Hood, West Point, and Ft. Leavenworth before returning to Ft. Hood in 2013. My husband retired from the Army after 20 years of service.
I truly believe that the faculty and staff of Montague Village work together to educate our students so they can reach their maximum potential in leadership and academics. We are LONGHORNS!
