Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Heather Hamilton
Mrs. Hamilton has been at Montague Village for the past eighteen years. She taught fifth grade for two years and third grade for three right here at Montague Village. This is her thirteenth year serving as the school guidance counselor. Mrs. Hamilton enjoys spending time with her family, riding bikes, swimming, drawing cartoons, balloon twisting, and collecting smiley faces. She grew up in the military community and feels called to work with children within that same community.
Students in grades PK3 through 2nd grades come to classroom guidance monthly. In classroom guidance the students learn how to be a good friend, how to self-regulate, and how to work with others. This school year small groups will be offered to students in first and second grades. Small groups being offered are for deployment, learning self-control, and building social skills.
Mrs. Hamilton is also the parent involvement/volunteer coordinator for the school. Montague Village offers opportunities for families to learn, grow, and serve through providing an early literacy program, parent workshops, and opportunities to volunteer. Please feel welcome to e-mail with any questions about how to get plugged in.
