Ms. Yaravi Granthon
I am proud to say that I am a Military Child. I spent the first 8 years of my life traveling due to my father being in the United States Army. My family settled in Copperas Cove, Texas and that is where I graduated High School. So I am proud to call the Killeen area home.
I graduated from Copperas Cove High School in 1997. I attended Central Texas College in Killeen and finished my Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I got my teacher certification from Region 12 in Waco in 2008. I received my Masters of Education in School Counseling from Texas A&M University-Central Texas in December 2015.
I taught at Temple ISD 1st grade Bilingual for 2 years. I have taught 4th grade bilingual, been an ESL teacher. My favorite grade level that I taught and has a special place in my heart has to be when I taught Kindergarten Bilingual for 3 years. At the present time I am the School Counselor at Trimmier Elementary School.
I enjoy traveling whenever I get the chance. I have traveled to Mexico, Panama, and I love traveling to the east coast. On my free time I like to read, go shopping, listening to music, go to boxing class and going shopping and to the movies!!! I am also a foodie person. I love trying different foods.
