Students who exhibit bully-type behavior will receive a disciplinary short form. The FOURTH incident will result in an office referral. An extreme case of bullying may result in an immediate office referral.

    ***Inappropriate items***

Toys, fidget spinners, or other inappropriate items that students might bring to school will be confiscated and kept until the end of the school year. Please encourage your child to keep those items at home. (See Student Handbook).

    Morning location before school

Students are expected to have a book to read in their book bags AT ALL TIMES. They will sit in the hallway beside their classroom reading quietly until the bell rings.

***Working mornings-students may catch up on unfinished work by going to the stage before school.

    Grading Policy

    Late work Policy

Students are given ample time to complete classwork so they are expected to turn assignments in on time. Work turned in late will receive a 10 point deduction each day the assignment is late. After three days the grade will be reduced to zero.

    Absent Make-up Work

When students have been absent, they are allowed 5 days to make up missing work during the school day.

    Tuesday Folders

Your child will be coming home with a folder every Tuesday. The folder contains graded work from the week along with important school information. It is important to review completed work with your child and discuss problem areas.

    Show your work

Students are required to show their work in order to receive full credit. (See Student Handbook or Teacher Discipline Plan).
