Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Beatriz Molina and I teach 4th grade bilingual. I was born and raised in Houston, TX. After high school I joined the U.S. Army. While in the U.S. Army I attended Kansas State University and graduated with a B.S. in Social Science. I was in the U.S. Army for six years when I decided to start a family with my husband, and I am now the proud mother of three beautiful boys! I received an honorable discharge and began my masters in Criminal Justice at Tarleton State University. While taking an elective class for teachers seeking a counselor’s certification, I met a lot of wonderful teachers who inspired me to change my career path. I went through the Region 12 Alternative Certification program and obtained my teaching certificate. I have enjoyed being a bilingual teacher and feel privileged to be able to impact the lives of children. Throughout my 11 years of teaching I have discovered that being a teacher is more than a career or a profession, it’s a calling.
