Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Megan Reynolds! I am proud to say I was raised in a family of educators. July 2016, I married Travis Reynolds, who is also a teacher. Teaching has always surrounded me, which means I am constantly learning and growing as an educator.
In May 2010, I received my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-4. I have been teaching at HHES since August 2010. My journey began as a second grade teacher. 2010 was the year I fell in love with HHES. We are so fortunate to work as a team who truly believes all students can learn and grow. In December 2014, I completed my master’s degree in Educational Administration with a Principal Certification EC-12. After teaching second grade, I moved to third grade. Currently, since August 2014, I have been serving as the Campus Instructional Specialist (CIS). My current role as the CIS is so wonderful because I serve the teachers at HHES. One thing I have learned is that everything a teacher does impacts student achievement. It is my honor to serve as our liaison between the HHES and district to make sure our teachers have access to best practices and everything that supports our curriculum. HHES is my second family, and I am honored to serve the teachers and students in the Harker Heights community.
