Hello Leopard families,

My name is Rebecca Boyd and I am one of the counselors here at Roy J. Smith Middle School. I will be serving students with last names A-L. I grew up in a small town, Panhandle, Texas and traveled to West Texas A&M University to earn my Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education in 2012. I received my Master’s of Education from Angelo State University in 2019.

The 2020-2021 school year begins my eighth year in education. I am looking forward to working with middle school students this year through small groups, guidance, and career explorations. Building relationship and providing opportunities for students to grow as life-long learners is my goal. I look forward to establishing a strong partnership with parents, students, staff, and the community. Here’s to a wonderful and adventurous 2020-2021 school year. Go Leopards!
