Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Chrisman

I am proud to be one of the Guidance Counselors at Harker Heights Elementary School where I am starting my seventh year.  I truly enjoy working with all students to promote positive educational experiences through our guidance program which focuses on developmental guidance, responsive services and individual planning.

Developmental guidance includes classroom lessons on topics such as character development, social and personal skills, as well as academics.  Responsive services address the immediate concerns of students while individual planning assists students in the areas of academics, career, and personal-social development.

Dallas County is where I was born and raised and I have called Bell County home the last nine years.   I am married and have three children.  Katelyn is in 9th grade, Cole is in 7th grade and Chase is in 4th grade. My undergraduate degree is from Texas A&M University and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is where I received my graduate degree.  Before counseling, I taught Kindergarten through third grade students in Marshall ISD and Waco ISD.

I look forward to a great school year and am always available to help meet the needs of our students. I may be contacted at 336-2058 or
