  • *** iPad Turn-In ***

As we quickly approach the end of the school year, we would like to remind you that all students who have an iPad checked out to them will need to return these devices to Bellaire. If your student is a face-to-face learner, you may want to beat the rush and begin turning in your child's device now. If your student is a remote learner, you will want to keep their device until after May 21st to ensure that all graded assignments are complete.

As a reminder, the cost for a lost or non-working iPad is $500. All iPads came with covers and chargers. Lost or severely damaged covers are $50 and lost or damaged chargers are $35.

Please do not send the iPads and chargers with your student to turn in, as we cannot ask teachers to be responsible for this. Parents or guardians can come to the school to check in devices between the hours of 7 and 2:15 every day. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school at 336-1410.

Bellaire 2020 - 2021 Teacher of the Year...

     Mrs. Renee MacCall photo

    Mrs. Renee McCall

In 2020, Renee McCall and her husband, who has retired from the Army, decided to call Central Texas their permit home. She currently is a proud Kindergarten teacher at Bellaire Elementary in the Killeen Independent School District. McCall’s teaching career began in Alamogordo, New Mexico after she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, with dual teaching fields. McCall specialized in Language arts and mathematics for kindergarten through eighth grade at New Mexico State University. She also earned two Associate degrees, Education and Criminal Justice.

McCall is a lifelong learner who always strives to make a difference in the world. As a little girl, she dreamed of becoming a teacher. She was taught early to give back to society. Now she wants to share the experiences with her students that she has learned throughout her life. As a mother of two children with disabilities, and as a certified Applied Behavioral Analysis Tutor, her philosophy of education and life was shaped. Coupled with her personal experiences of multiple cultures around the world, and now her teaching career, her outlook as to her true calling has emerged. McCall has learned that teaching is all about the individual student.  Students possess their own skills, interests, and abilities to learn. McCall believes our culture and diversity defines who we are as individual learners. She commits to enhance the student’s abilities to their highest potential. McCall enjoys continuing to learn and grow as an educator from her students, their parents, the community, and colleagues.

  • BELLAIRE Admin Team

We are so happy and delighted to welcome students to Bellaire for the 2019 - 2020 school year. This year we are embracing a new program called, No Excuses University. This concept will help us transform our elementary school into college themed school called Bellaire University. The school will promote Careers & College and we will reflect different colleges from around the nation to help students start thinking and aspiring about their future.

The Bellaire Administration team consists of:

La Vonda Loney (Principal/University President), Mrs. Angela Sayers (Assistant Principal/Dean) and Dr. Wanda Reynolds (Assistant Principal/Dean).
