Ms. Natalie Kirshner

Harker Heights Elementary School is welcoming Natalie Kirshner, a former student and teacher at the school. She will be the fifth principal in the school’s 59-year history.
Kirshner is set to follow Principal Carolyn Dugger, who has led Harker Heights Elementary School 20 years and is the longest-serving current principal in KISD. She is completing a 47-year education career.
Kirshner has been an assistant principal five years at Harker Heights Elementary. Prior to that, she was an instructional coach and a teacher in the district from 2007 to 2016.
The longtime local resident attended Central Texas College, graduated from Tarleton State University-Central Texas and earned a master’s degree from Texas A&M University-Central Texas.
