Theatre 1-Theatre 1 is a little bit of everything. We learn about the voice, movement, improvisation, working with other actors. We study the basics of the stage, perform alone and with groups, and at the end of the year we put on a play written and produced by the students. Theatre 1 is a great opportunity for students to dip their toes into what theater really is.Theatre 2-Theatre 2 is meant to dive deeper into what we covered in theatre 1. We do small productions and we explore technical theatre with more depth.High School Theatre 1-This class is mostly project based. We do a lot of work with Shakespeare and other areas of theatre history. We compete in One Act Play, producing a show in and out of class. This class also has the opportunity to go out into the community to see live theatre so that students can critique an analyze the elements of a show.

**Everyone is welcome. You do not have to come to every meeting to be a part of activities, and you don’t have to be in a theater class to join us. Bring a friend.
**You need to come to drama club as soon as the bell rings. You may not leave the building. Once you get to drama club, you will stay until your ride is present. There will be no roaming the halls after school. If you are late, you need a blue pass.
**The end time is not the same for every meeting due to the time needed for certain activities and the length of films. You may leave early if your ride is present. If your ride is not at the school on time, you will head to Boys and Girls Club.
**Snacks and cell phones are allowed during drama club.
**Some days we will have a choice of activities. Whoever shows up to drama club that day gets to vote for which film or activity they would like.
**Participation is not required. If you would like to sit back and observe, that is okay.
