Greetings LOBO Family,

It is truly an honor for me to be appointed to serve as your Instructional Leader.
I am extremely excited to work with you as we grow and foster a successful learning community.
I believe I am here to serve you and that is what I intend to do.
I am passionate about education and hope my enthusiasm will be evident in my daily
interactions with you.
With 23 years in education, I know it takes a village to raise a child.
All stakeholders are valuable to the learning process and are welcomed to visit me!!
I believe that together we can and will make a difference.

Looking forward to SUCCESS!!

I have served Killeen Independent School District for 16 years, my enthusiasm to nurture students has been demonstrated in and out of the classroom.  I truly enjoy interacting and building relationships with students and parents.  I believe my role as an Instructional Leader will grow our teachers and students, therefore, together empower the ability to build a great community of learners.  My second love is teaching math, I was a classroom math teacher for 11 years, served as Math Department Chair for two years, and served as Math coach for one year before transitioning to Campus Administrator.  I realized that it “takes a village to raise a child”, therefore, I welcome all parents to reach out as needed and if I can assist in any way, I embrace the opportunity.

LOBO Pride- Together we can make a difference!!!

This school year marks my 17th year in education; during this time, I have worn many hats, which includes RLA teacher for 6th and 9th grade, RLA Department Chair, and an RLA Instructional Coach. In these roles, as well as in my role as a campus administrator my focus has been on student growth. It is imperative to grow students through building the capacity of teachers, through focusing on students' social-emotional needs, and through service to the community.

We must work together for the success of our students, for this reason I encourage parents to reach out to me as needed.

Student growth is non-negotiable. Focused on student success!
