You must have a physical and all you paperwork filled out in RankOne to try-out.• The Boys Soccer Roos will open district play at Leo Buckley Stadium on Tuesday, January 19th against Copperas Cove.• Anyone interested in playing Baseball: There will be open field after school each day this week until 5:30 – weather pending. Tryouts for baseball will be held January 22nd and 23rd. Bring your glove, cleats, and bat! Those interested in trying out need to have a physical on file with Doc Beeman or Doc Vallejo, and have their paperwork completed in RankOne. If there are any questions, you can see Coach Trcka in Portable 907 or Coach Orban in room 210.Tutoring Announcements:• The Academic Assistance and Resource Center is open before and after school. The AARC helps with homework, individualized tutoring, and content area enrichment. Help is available in person and virtually using Zoom. For virtual help, look on the “Roo Round Up” course on Schoology. You will find a zoom link for a virtual tutor.• We offer Saturday tutoring for Face2Face and Virtual from 9 am to 12 pm. If you’re interested, please use the Saturday tutoring QR code to sign up. The QR code is posted in your teacher’s classroom, various places throughout campus, and in your grade level Schoology groups.YSP Announcements:• We are still in need of YSP Sponsors this semester! As part of the YSP, you will escort new students around the school, inform them of our campus rules, expectations, and values, and help make them feel welcomed and part of our AMAZING Roo family. If you are interested in becoming a YSP Sponsor, please pick up the peach-colored YSP application from the Counseling Office.
