Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Steve Bibiano
My name is Steve Bibiano and I am an assistant principal here at Brookhaven. This will be my fifth year on this campus where I have transitioned from campus instructional specialist to my current position. I am a father of twin girls and a devoted husband. I have a strong belief in education and all children can and will succeed with support from our learning community.
Our mission for this year is One Team and One Goal. We believe a connection between family, school, and community is essential to student growth and success. Our goal is to create a framework that allows for us to work toward student success and show exponential growth and a belief that all can succeed.
I encourage you to reach out and hope to personally meet all parents and community members. Positive communication is an essential component to connecting and problem solving. Your student’s academic success and best interest are at the forefront of this communication. We must work together, model effective communication and provide our students with a positive example to build on.
Our staff has worked hard to prepare for this upcoming school year and we look forward to a wonderful year with plenty of learning, growth and fun. Please feel free to contact me anytime and have a great year.
Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Bethany Sutton
Welcome to Brookhaven Elementary! My name is Bethany Sutton and this is my fifth year as assistant principal at Brookhaven. I look forward to getting to know our new students and continuing to build on relationships with our returning students.
Our theme this year is One Team, One Goal: Making A Difference. Our staff will be working together as a team to make a difference for our students, parents and community. Our focus quote is from Henry Ford- “Coming together is the beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”
We are focusing on our goals that staff will work together so that each student is challenged and confident that they can achieve at their highest potential. Our vision is that students will receive high quality instruction through engaging activities in a positive classroom environment to instill a lifelong love of learning.
Our staff members are working hard all year to provide rigorous learning experiences for our students. Through professional development, professional learning communities, grade level meetings and so much more we are working on becoming better at our craft.
We are also working on developing the whole child and our discipline approach of restorative justice focuses on building relationships and helping students make great choices as part of our school community.
Parents are a huge part of what we do and I encourage you to be an active participant in your child’s education. Communicate with your child’s teacher and see if there is anything you can do to help support their learning.
If you ever have any questions or concerns I encourage you to touch base with your child’s teacher first; however, I am also here to serve our students, parents and community. Please feel free to contact me if there is anything I can do to help!
