After School Tutoring
Students,
Beginning Monday, April 5 tutoring will be available in the library from 4:30-5:00 pm. Monday through Friday. Teachers will be available for assistance with science, social studies, and language arts. Transportation WILL NOT be provided. The tutoring schedule will be posted on the school website. Check back regularly for updates. Please contact the Curriculum Department if you have any questions.

Building Hours
Our campus opens the doors to students at 8:15 a.m. Students will be unsupervised outside if they are dropped off prior to 8:00 a.m.
As a reminder, offices close at 4:30 p.m. If you need to meet with an administrator or someone on campus, please contact us and we will plan accordingly to accomodate you.

District Policy
Once a student arrives at school, he/she is not permitted to leave campus at any time during the school day without administrative permission, except students classified as sophomores, juniors, or seniors who may leave during their respective lunch periods, or students who have completed their school day. Students who are enrolled in a work cooperative program may leave campus when their instructional day is completed. Sophomores, juniors, or seniors departing and returning from lunch must be prepared to wear or show their ID’s while doing so and when requested while off campus. Sophomore, junior, or senior privilege of leaving campus for lunch may be revoked for individuals for any violation of closed campus rules.
All KISD schools are closed campuses for freshmen students. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors are allowed to leave campus for lunch. If a sophomore, junior, or senior attempts to take an underclassman off campus, he or she may lose his or her off-campus rights for the rest of the school year and may be subject to other disciplinary actions deemed appropriate by the campus principal or principal designee.
All freshmen must remain on campus for lunch. Eating or drinking outside of the designated eating area will result in disciplinary action. Students in grade 9 who violate closed campus rules during their freshmen year may lose their off-campus privilege as an upperclassman.
Designated Eating Areas include: cafeteria, court yard adjacent to the cafeteria, front court yard, and basketball court.
Freshman students are not allowed beyond the flag pole or in the parking lot during lunch.

Visitors To Campus
All visitors must enter and obtain a visitor's badge from the front office entrance. Please park in the parking lot by the flag pole.

Killeen ISD Board Approves 2021-2022 Calendar
At the February 9, 2021 Board Meeting, Killeen ISD Trustees approved the 2021-2022 Academic Calendar. KISD students will return to school after the summer break on Monday, August 16, 2021.

KISD Virtual Math and Science Tutoring Center
The Virtual Math Center is open from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. The center Schoology group is available through this link.
